ON THE AIR - Mike McKnight |
| Hopefully you have become familiar with the voice of our weekday afternoon Air Minister Mike McKnight! We are very blessed and excited to have Mike "re"-join our broadcast team! Mike and his wife Brenda have been dear friends and partners with WECC since the early 1990's, when after retiring at Kings Bay from the US Navy, they both volunteered their time and talents in several ministry positions on our AM1190 radio station. We've been praying him back ever since!
Mike & Brenda have two grown sons both married and living in Atlanta, and two Grandbabies!
Mike has a great heart for God and the ministry of WECC! Please pray for him, as he does for you, and tune in
Monday - Friday, 3pm - 6pm!

ON THE CAMPUS -
The ROCK |
| The ROCK Bible Study continues now in its 11th year at The Lighthouse! Many of the first ROCK Youth are now married with children and closer in age to 30 than 20...yikes! But good seed was sown back in 1997 for the ROCK youth ministry, when a few teens with a heart for God and their peers, were gathering every week at WECC. For the past several years, attendance at the ROCK has varied from about 75 to 125 teens every week. By our calculation, that would equal roughly 50,000 youth visits to The Lighthouse campus over the past 10 years!
With live music from The ROCK Praise Band, special guest speakers, great food and fellowship, The ROCK is still the coolest year-round interdenominational Christian gathering place for youth 12-18 years old! And its all broadcast live every Tuesday night at 6:30pm on The Lighthouse!

Passover Seder Service
Thanks to Jimmy & Maria Kehoe
for planning, preparing, and facilitating a Seder meal and service at The Lighthouse.
Many came and enjoyed for the first time ever participating in a Seder, celebrating the deliverance and
protection of God's people from Egypt.
As Christians, we of course celebrated our protection and deliverance from the bondage and penalty of sin by the shed blood of the Passover Lamb of God,
Jesus Christ!

ON THE ROAD |
God has blessed and increased the signal reach of The Lighthouse over the past 22 years, from a 2500 watt day-time only AM radio station, to a 30,000 watt FM station shining HIS light 24 hours a day from Jacksonville to Jesup, and from Brunswick to Waycross!
Its a joy to visit areas and meet friends & loved-ones where The Lighthouse is shining throughtout SE Georgia & NE Florida.

Sharathon 2008! - THANK YOU! |
We want to thank everyone who prayed and called, mailed, emailed, or stopped by and made your Faith Pledge to The Lighthouse during Sharathon 2008!
A total of 356 Individual Donors, Familes, Churches, and Businesses combined to pledge $289,962.85 for the coming year! The Lighthouse Family called in during Sharathon and represents 114 different churches, in 36 different cities, from eight different states, including one from England! The pledged amount however represents 69% of our budget goal to meet monthly expenses. We do however trust that God will supply to provide for the work He's called us to.
If you missed the invitation during Sharathon to help share in the work of keeping His light shining, we welcome your prayerful consideration to help us now.
