More Than a Radio Station – A Hub for Ministry and Community

​

At The Lighthouse WECC, we are truly more than just a radio station. Through both on-air programming and in-person gatherings, we minister to individuals and families of all ages and walks of life. A vital part of this mission is The Rock Ministry Center, located on The Lighthouse Campus—a place where lives have been impacted for over 20 years.

​

It all began in 2002 with the donation of our first portable classroom, which became home to The Rock Youth Bible Study. That first building opened the door to many more opportunities for outreach, including HeBrews, a young adult gathering with a coffeehouse-style atmosphere designed for fellowship and discipleship.

​

In the years that followed, a second portable classroom was added, along with a fully functioning kitchen and bathrooms—enhancing our ability to serve and connect with the community. While the specific ministries have evolved over time, The Rock Ministry Center continues to be a vibrant spring of life and faith for those we serve.

Ongoing Ministries at The Rock:​​​

• Ladies Bible Study
  Tuesdays at 6:00 PM
  This is our longest-running campus ministry, originally held in the broadcast building. Today, the group meets weekly using video-based studies from teachers like Priscilla Shirer, Andy Stanley, Beth Moore, and Dr. Tony Evans.

• Intercessory Prayer Gathering: Wednesday at 1:00 AM
  Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer—lifting up the ministry of The Lighthouse, our nation, our state, our local community, and personal prayer needs.

​

• Cub Scout Pack 893
  Chartered by The Lighthouse in 2019, this pack meets weekly on Sundays and Mondays, providing a fun, faith-friendly environment for young boys to grow and learn.

​

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
  The Camden and Charlton County FCA chapters use The Rock Ministry Center for their monthly board meetings, benefiting from its central location and welcoming atmosphere.
